The Central Power Plant of Paraná S.A., situated in Porecatu - Paraná, voluntarily signed up to the Adjustment Term for Conduct in the Environmental Realm, called the INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT, with the ibjective to promote forest restoration on rural property of the Atalla Group, in the Porecatu region and neighbouring municipalities. the project was joined on the 31st March 2009, together with the Public Ministry of the State of Paraná and IAP, the Paraná Environmental Institute, with the support of UEL - the State Universoty of Londrina and FAUEL - the Support Foundation for the Development of the State University of Londrina put under environmental management an area of 5,748 hectares which is made up of areas of permanent preservation surrounding water courses, occuring in various forms. Besides this, the preservation of 1,515 hectares of remaining forst fragments is planned, along with the reforestation of 2,020 hectares of pasture with species native to the region, the rejuvenation of 406 hectares of remaining forest, the netural regeneration of 1806 hectares through the mangement of the natural evolution of the forest canopy and the substitution of 635 hectares of reforestation with eucalyptus, for native species.

The Conduct Adjusment Term still forsees the implementation of the Environmental Adjustment Program of the Industrial Park, Environmental Education Plan and the Environmental Monitoring Program, besides contributing to the conservation of the state park of Ibicatu. The complete timeline for the implementation of the Environmental Program is 18 years, starting in 2009 and finishing in 2026, being 13 years of installation and 5 years of monitoring and control.
