Agroforestry Components company becomes a new partner of the Semear Program.

Located in São Paulo state, working in the agroforestry components sector, Aluminox highlights socio-environmental concern. A company that has been stable in the market for more than 10 years, marketing products for reforestation, like fertilizers for forest nurseries, tubes for the production of seedlings,  trays to support the tubes, besides providing an information service and support to the nursery worker regards the production and development of projects.

This link between social and environmental issues stems from the services provided. " As we are manufacturers of products for reforestation, our main clients are nurseries, besides companies produce eucalyptus to be used as base material in construction, preserving native forests. In other words, we are directly linked to environmental issues", explains Ailton Carlos Pereira, sales director of Aluminox.

Aluminox is a partner of various organizations such as the Bradesco Foundation and SOS Mata Atlântica, doing justice to its slogan "Respect for Nature" Now this company is another step towards stregthening this image, by entering into a partnership with IBF and the Semear Program.

One fo the key action points of the Semear Project is the installation of a forest nursery in Dracena Penitentiary Prison (São Paulo state). Besides reaching the demand for seedlings for riparian forest recovery projects in the region, the program creates employment and generates revenue, through training the inmates as nursery workers. Aluminox will provide IBF with trays for the forest nurseries they have created, which are concerned with socio-environmental responsibility, through the production of native forest seedlings, professional training, creation of employment and generation of revenue.

Ailton Pereira emphasises that the principal objective of the partnership between Aluminox and IBF is to improve the development of society and the environment, through the means of conservation of nature. "the importance of activities like this is that we will be able to take our projects and professional knowledge to the seedling producer, so that they can develop and improve their products with higher quality and technology".
